The video clip is from Martin Luther King's March on Washington (the "I have a dream" speech rally), 28 August 1963.

I'm proud to say I was there. What a day that was. I was a grad student living in Princeton at the time. Dozens of buses left Princeton NJ about 4:00 a.m. for the 4-hour drive to Washington. We had no idea what to expect. But I'll never forget the excitement we felt as we approached the city, and the freeways were literally lined with buses, in all lanes, everyone waving at each other. We knew then that it would be a great day. The experience is etched in my memory, as if it were last week.
Anonymous, is that you, Lee? (you went to Princeton?)... I remember watching the event live all day on TV that Saturday long ago, including the PP & M segment (they also sang "Blowin' in the Wind") and the MLK speech. Definitely a day to remember.
