knee deep in the hoopla

I had the '80s channel going on Sirius Radio, and they were doing the Top Ten songs from this week in 1985, which included this song, and it's been going through my head ever since.

It was one of the biggest hits of the '80s, actually. But then again, I recently saw another "Top Ten" that named "We Built This City" as the worst song of the '80s. Take your pick.

oh, i forgot to add -- This is by Starship, which before that was Jefferson Starship, which before that was Jefferson Airplane, all of which had Grace Slick as lead singer.

I love that song! Always have...attribute it to that time in my life. A very FUN time!

I can see why you chose to remain anonymous. :-)

i've always kinda liked it too, even though it doesn't make a whole lot of sense... but I've always been a Grace Slick fan, sort of.

I'm surprised you didn't point out that I used to have the album on vinyl. Hey, I was 11, cut me some slack.

actually I forgot that you had the album, Jon... But you were cool at 11, of course.
